This is a really clever way to show how we are as a society. We see things through these magic goggles we wear and pretend that everything is fine in world we have created for ourselves. Occasionally we will allow ourselves to see things for what they are, feel some type of emotion and depending on if its negative "proceed on with the medication to fix it". It couldn't have been said any better.
