Goshdarn B-word.
Betrayal is a knife. Not only does this knife slice you apart and chop you into tiny pieces, this knife of betrayal sucks the life out of your body slowly and painfully. To be betrayed is to lose every ounce of who you are: distortion.
On a search for someone to lean on and as you reach out, you free fall thousands of feet only to face plant. SPLAT! Having no one and wanting only one. To not understand – that’s probably the most troubling side effect of them all.
Betrayal is something I am all too familiar with, but when it comes to seeing the culprit, all that stands in my view is an outline of someone who used to be. Betrayal was a malicious worm that took no prisoners and devoured me from the inside out. This worm is a touchy subject and something I no longer let affect me or crawl inside me. What used to be screaming and drums is now chimes and violins. I took what used to be my demise and swept it out of my entire memory forever. Sorry I can’t tell you more.
You have fantastic image-making capability. I wonder why no one else comments on this? Keep blogging -- keeping feeling invertebrates. But -- work with a dictionary. Simple. Simple. Advice. Check out "demise" for example. Do you mean demise here?
